David Gresham Records is one of South Africa’s leading independent record companies. The record company has produced many local & international artists over the last 43 years including the likes of Nickelback, Aaliyah, Kylie Minogue, Prime Circle, Depeche Mode, Janet Jackson & Jesse Clegg to name only a select few. With offices in Johannesburg & Cape Town, the record company provides a number of services including distribution, marketing, radio & television promotion, publicity & digital strategy.
The Gresham Studio complex is based in Woodmead Johannesburg & hosts two recording studio’s operating off both Pro tools & Nuendo. The studios have produced likes of Grammy award winning group “Hanson”, International recording sensation “Connell Cruise” and global touring band “Prime Circle”. The studios are used exclusively for artists signed to David Gresham Records.

David Gresham Music Publishing is one of the largest publishing companies on the African continent. With over 3.6 million songs administered, the publishing company represents the likes of Will.I.Am, Bruno Mars, Pink Floyd, John Ryan, Phil Collins, Connell Cruise & many more. Specializing in synchronizations, administration and creative collaborations, David Gresham Music Publishing is at the forefront of both the local & international publishing business.
Neighbouring Rights
David Gresham Neighbouring Rights was formally established in 2017 to administer & collect "Public Play Rights" in South Africa for music producers, content owners and record labels.
The company administers both domestic & international catalogs representing some of the finest talent on the planet including copyrights by Childish Gambino, Avril Lavigne, Kylie Minogue & Helmut Lotti to name a few of the 1.5 Million songs in the groups offering.
